Solving Human Problems on Earth Blog 2 entry for class

[Yesterday 12:23 PM] Annie Melzer BLOG 2 Prompt 2/1/2022 - (Due No Later Than Friday, 2/4/2022) - MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 400 WORDS AND INCLUDE AN IMAGE (OF YOUR OWN OR SOMEONE ELSE'S) TO SUPPLEMENT WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT AND EXPLORED IN YOUR BLOG ENTRY... For this Blog 2 entry, you will begin to shift into a state of inquiry. After reviewing course prep materials for Week 3 of class (located in the Teams Class Notebook), what is emerging for you? What are you thinking about, what is inspiring you to learn more, and how are you feeling as you explore the peopling of the earth? Why might it be important to you as a creative, artist and/or designer, and human to understand human cultural diversity across the landscape of the earth and environments that people have lived in and adapted to throughout human history and continuing into the contemporary? Next, write about how you are beginning to think with greater intention about humans as both biological and a cultural beings in the world of nearly 8 billion people who are all scientifically classified as human (Homo sapien sapien). How does it feel to know that there are over 7,000 living languages being spoken on the planet today with over 7,000 cultures and different worldviews about what it means to be human on the landscape of the earth? Finally, the field of anthropology (and the 4 subfields of anthropology) help us to make sense of humans in all of their diversity. Briefly articulate in your own words what the 3 guiding principles of anthropology are (holism, ehthnocentrism, and cultural relativism) and how when using these perspectives we might begin to make sense of human adaptations and maladaptations on this earth.

what is emerging for you?

Answers: Idk,....what is emerging for you to be honest. oh but you want to know my thoughts right? Well i truly don't know. what pops up in my head would be the same an my other blog. It will not change until that day happens.

What are you thinking about, what is inspiring you to learn more, and how are you feeling as you explore the peopling of the earth?

Answers: what i am thinking about is how mankind is foolish and how humans have not fully become engaged. The only thing that inspiring me is to learn about the ins and the outs to understand the why's, How's, What's, where's, When's, of the the topic at hand. There is something very special about learn what you dont know to create a new understand that will spark the future of many out comes. wonder is the feel with aw.

Why might it be important to you as a creative, artist and/or designer, and human to understand human cultural diversity across the landscape of the earth and environments that people have lived in and adapted to throughout human history and continuing into the contemporary?

Answers: well the truth is its not important as it very important. To know something is to be aware and not to know something is to be lost and at risk but that going back in forth. In knowing this as a creative or what not it can open more outcomes or its can limit your view it all depends. Understanding is the key to your journey.

Next, write about how you are beginning to think with greater intention about humans as both biological and a cultural beings in the world of nearly 8 billion people who are all scientifically classified as human (Homo sapien sapien).

Answers: well my thinking has not changed. it has been the same since birth.

How does it feel to know that there are over 7,000 living languages being spoken on the planet today with over 7,000 cultures and different worldviews about what it means to be human on the landscape of the earth?

Answers: well not i am affected by it. A since of wonder and aw is sparking the new outcomes. its truly wonderful to see the different view out there and see how they live.

Briefly articulate in your own words what the 3 guiding principles of anthropology are (holism, ethnocentrism, and cultural relativism) and how when using these perspectives we might begin to make sense of human adaptations and maladaptation's on this earth.

Answers: so within knowing the information from the web I can say that the 3 guiding principles are holism which is viewing and understanding things as a whole to see how to move about. ethnocentrism which is to judge the difference in one's world compared to another and lastly cultural relativism which is the relations between one person way of life to your own way of life. With in know this we can start to spark the step to understanding to be able to improve what there and not there. To see the 5 w's and understand and view and to counteract to improve that to insure a better future for those to come.
